Over his 35 year career, Rick Machak has been involved in the development of commercial real estate with a cost in excess of one billion dollars. Rick is activily involved in all stages of development, from pre-development investigation, land acquisition, site planning, building design, value engineering, and governmental entitlement.
When working with Woodmont, one recieves the benefit of its relationships and experience with top level architects and engineers with 30 plus years of professional experience. Rick manages costs and optimizes construction so as to allow Woodmont to focus on finding solutions to challenging situations while keeping costs to a minimum and maximizing the value of the shopping center development.
His tenure with Woodmont includes the development of over 10 million square feet of retail properties in over 20 states ranging in size from 10,000 square feet to 600,000 square feet. Centers have featured prominent national tenants including Kohl’s, The Home Depot, Lowes, JCPenney, Best Buy, and Target. Through completion of development, Rick ensures that the quality and integrity of The Woodmont Company’s standards are maintained. Developments are completed on time and within budget.
